Belle Meade plantation is a historic mansion which is located in Belle Meade Tennesse. It is now operated as a museum.
It covers about 30 acres. Before the 20th century in the 19th century, its use to cover about 5400 acres. It was constructed in 1807.
In this, a winery and a center for visitors have been constructed. The managers of the Belle Meade plantation have focused on how to tell their visitors about the sacrifice of their people in the civil war.
So to explain this they built a typical slave cabin which has two families.
ARCHITECTURE OF THE PLACE
• John Harding was the architect of the place.
• Near Natchez he bought a cabin.
• In the place two family cabin was made.
• Enslaved black Americans were forced by the Harding to the first red brick Federal-style house near Richland Creek.
• At the side of the Central board chimneys and two wings have been made.
• In 1839 John Harding's son William Glows Harding took over the operating plantation as John was doing cotton plantation.
• He was getting his land spread in many areas for his breeding and raising high quality livestock and also for adding cattle and ships.
• He approximately owned about 5400 acres.
• Afterwards a two story kitchen was added to the place through the breezeway.
• In the 29th century the breezeway was closed.
• Later Carriage house, stable, and Dairy were added.

In 1816 Harding was doing the job at his neighbor name Andrew Jackson. Works such as breeding the horse and race. Middle Tennesse became famous for raising livestock, cattle ship. Harding was a good horse rider and he tried his skill in the Nashville Jockey club.
During the 19th century, he owned 5400 acres. 136 Enslaved Americans were provided with labor by him. In 1853 he incorporated his father’s house large mansions.
Elizabeth remarries William Gulied Harre marrieselene and Mary were the two daughters of them who survived till adulthood. He was also a supporter of the Confederate States of America. He donated $20000 and $50000 was raised by him to the costs to the confederate states army.
So the members of the army made him the brigadier general of the army. Willie Hack Jackson died in 1903 Harding Jackson his son later died in the same year of Typhoid fever.
A business company Bele Meade land company bought a plantation to grow a residential community that was known as Belle Meade. The deer was released by the company after raising the private donation. By private owners, a mansion and 30 acres of land were reserved.
In 1953 five other families use to live when the Tennesse purchase the mansion and the eight outbuildings on the private building to ensure its presentation. It is operated as an event space and museum. Its name was also registered in National historic places in 1907 with proudly.
