In Nashville Tennessee, Broadway is a passage in the downtown area. On the lower Broadway, there are Honkytonks and live country music which are renowned for an entertainment district. In the middle of the street, there are many retail shops, restaurants, dessert shops and the main thing about the street is that it is a major place for tourist attraction in Nashville. Its original name is Broad Street.

HISTORY OF THE STREET
- The foremost thing about this street is that it was one of the first roads to run east-west in Nashville.
- Also, the first high school which was inaugurated by the government was constructed on this road in 1875.
- By the Work Progress Administration company a new post office was built near to union station on Broadway which latest name is First Centre for the Visual Performing arts
- Jimmies Rodgers a Chicago Blue guitarist, singer, and a Harmonica layer who use to perform in bars on Broadway near the river.
- Jimmie Rodger had also solo hits with the R&B chart name “That’s alright”
- When Grand Ol Opry left the Ryman Auditorium the dignity or popularity of Broadway declined.
- Slowly–slowly the life of the area came back when some shows are started in Ryman of Opry.
- In the venue, many famous stars started their carrier like Dierks Bentley, Gretchen Wilson, Willie Nelson.
