Athena, the goddess of war. Her temple is The Parthenon. The temple was built in remembrance of the goddess Athena. Athena took over by the Greeks. As she was the pre-hellenic goddess.
About the goddess Athena
Zeus was the father of Athena, She was born without any mother as Zeus engulf Metis who was the goddess of counsel, at that time she was pregnant and the baby was in her womb. So, automatically Athena comes out as the result of it. She was the favorite child of Zeus, because of this she has great powers. She was the goddess of war so it was not easy to dominate her. She was the palace goddess which is the reason that she couldn’t be violated.
Location of the Parthenon
Parthenon is on the hill of Acropolis in Athens. In the mid 5th Century BCE, it was built as well as by the Greeks that A will be the Greek Goddess. It became the fourth most important pilgrimage destination of the Christians. The Parthenon was damaged because of a fall that happened in 1687. In the disaster, the statue also falls and now there is a duplicate statue of Athena.
